ADHESIVES FOR PLASTIC
Belco Chemical Ltd. recently purchased Bell Chemical Company's line of PLEX-WELD(tm) adhesives and cold chemical dye, which they now manufacture under the same name. Their acrylic cements are clear, solvent based cements that are fast setting, blush resistant, and high strength. Available in two viscosities, the cements are ideal for a wide range of bonding applications. The Colored Laminating Cement can be used in place of colored acrylic and is available in eight regular and six fluorescent colors. It is ready to use with no mixing and comes in syrup form but may also be ordered water thin. PVC-106 is a fast setting, high strength cement for PVC, ABS, and rigid vinyl. It may also be ordered water thin or in syrup form. Their Cold Chemical Dye, also known as Internal Carving Dye, is used to permanently change the color of acrylic and PVC and will not fade or peal. The intensity of the final color is determined by the length of time the material is immersed in the dye. All PLEX-WELD(tm) products can be ordered in quart, gallon, or 5 gallon containers. Samples are available for a small fee.
