HAND-HELD PLASTICS EXTRUDER
A new lightweight, self-contained, hand-held plastics extruder that features an integral electronic temperature control system, for both pre-heat and plasticizing, and can produce a finished weld in one pass is being offered by Malcom Company. The Leister Weldmax Mini Hand Extruder features an integral microprocessor controlled heater and blower with a sensor for assuring the proper plasticized rod temperature. Providing an infinitely adjustable continuous rod feed, it is designed for welding HDPE, LDPE, PP, PPS, PVC-U, and PVDF, and can be supplied with a variety of PTFE welding shoes for performing lap-, V-welds, and others.
