DSM ADDS TO CO-POLYESTER LINE
DSM Engineering Plastics has reached an agreement with General Electric Plastics to acquire GE's Lomod® co-polyester product line. Under the terms of this agreement, DSM will transition the Lomod business to Arnitel® products while the Lomod grades are taken off the market by GE. For more information, call 812-435-7500.

Finally, DSM Polypropylenes announced the planned closure of an older Gelsenkirchen (Germany) polypropylene plant. The closure of this 70,000-tpa facility has been made possible by recent capacity hikes at existing polypropylene facilities of DSM in Geleen (Netherlands) and Gelsenkirchen.
