ENGINEERING THERMOPLASTICS CONSUMPTION PROJECTED TO REACH 22 BILLION POUNDS BY 2000
 Engineering thermoplastics (ETPs) should reach an annual global consumption volume of 22 billion pounds by the year 2000, based on projections of past growth trends, according to Dr. Mark Witman, Director of Plastics Technology for Bayer Corporation's Plastics Division.
