ACETAL HOMOPOLYMER
Sustarin® H, an acetal homopolymer material with higher mechanical properties at extreme temperatures when compared to copolymer acetals, is available from Sustaplast, Inc. The homopolymer's base resin, DuPont's Delrin(tm); 150, is known for high mechanical strength and rigidity, excellent wear, low coefficient of friction, low moisture absorption and excellent dimensional stability. The material is FDA and USDA approved. Applications include food processing, beverage and bottling, chemical, medical equipment, and textiles among others. The material is ideal for small diameter, thin-walled bushings. It is supplied in a wide range of sheet sizes, rods, and custom shapes.
