CORPORATION EXPANDS
King Plastic Corporation, manufacturer of heavy-gauge plastic sheets, slabs, and massive shapes, has expanded its Florida-based operations and warehouse facilities.

Developed nearly 15 years ago by Tom and Jeff King, their K-Stran® process creates thermoplastic sheet to any length, up to 72" wide, and from 1/16" thick to 1-1/2" thick, with superior flatness and precise thickness tolerances. It is used to produce a wide range of polymers for food processing, construction, transportation, medical and materials handling.

The process has also revolutionized the marine and boatbuilding industries. The King StarBoard® Family of Marine Grade Polymers include: King StarBoard®, King Starboard® XL, King Starboard® AS, King StarLite® XL, and the newest addition, King ColorCore®. They replace teak and plywood in many boat accessories, last the lifetime of the boat and need virtually no maintenance.
