CONTINUOUS SHEETING SYSTEM
Maxson Automatic Machinery Co. introduced a programmed continuous operation system for sheeting, allowing uninterrupted production and without rejecting any sheets. At a pre-set count, the sheeter will ramp down to minimum speed. When the last sheet assigned to the pile passes through the tape section and enters the stacker, the load table automatically lowers while, simultaneously, the tape section continues at "creep" speed. An optional quick pallet discharge system can also be combined with the system. It automatically removes the full skids; positions empty skids in place, and raises the load table into position before the sheets reach the stacker. When the load table is in position, the sheeter returns to the previous line speed and overlap percentage. No sheets are lost during a skid change.
