HIGH PURITY PROCESS TUBING
Excelon™ Bev-A-Line IV and V HT from Thermoplastic Processes, Inc., are lightweight, high clarity, transparent tubing especially patented to permit greater working pressures and vacuum capabilities.
The clear shell offers durability and greater burst strength than PVC. Its flexibility provides resistance to freezing and thermal cycling, without the use of vinyl chloride monomer and plasticizer.
The lower friction coefficient and excellent chemical resistance allow easy passage of solids, alcohols, acids, caustics and solvents. The smooth surface is resistant to the absorption of liquids, providing a neutral and stain-free environment that remains translucent and is easily cleaned. Coextruded to combine the benefits of two tubings in one seamless product, they meet FDA, USDA, National Formulary and USP standards for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, laboratory and medical device usage.
The tubing can be custom fabricated into intricate coils, bends and angles to reduce connector problems and stress cracking of tube walls or fittings. Pre-formed spirals and bends simplify routing in confined spaces, and difficult tubing connections can be constructed and permanently bonded in a simple heat-sealed joint. They are stocked in a wide range of sizes from 3/32" to 2" I.D. and 5/32" to 2-1/2" O.D.
