STRESS CRACK RESISTANCE

Solvay Polymers, Inc. offers its newest technical publication in the series: "Environmental Stress Crack Resistance of Polyethylene" (ESCR), which defines environmental stress cracking and environmental stress cracking resistance, and details why ESCR is an important resin property. The publication also describes some of the tests used to measure ESCR in high density polyethylene products, and the principle variables that influence ESCR.
