SWAGER

The P20, a powerful benchtop swager, has been introduced by Finn-Power USA, Inc. It is capable of hose size up to 1-1/4" with a maximum swaging range of 54mm. With its 170 tons of force and a maximum opening of +25mm, it is capable of 850 swages per hour. It can operate on single phase or any three-phase power requirement. While it is considered to be medium sized in terms of power, it is compact in space requirements.

Three control options are offered; The MS which uses a 10-turn vernier dial that can be set with an accuracy of 0.1mm, the IS with an analogical control using potentiometers for setting both swaging and retraction diameters, and the VS, computerized control using icon based software capable of storing up to 200 combinations of retraction diameters, correction requirements, and swaging diameters.
