NONCONTACT VIDEO EXTENSOMETER

Shimadzu has introduced a series of Video Extensometers which enable high precision noncontact elongation measurement for a variety of test materials and sample configurations. Designed to operate with their AG Series Universal Testing Equipment, DVE Extensometers utilize CCD cameras to capture digital images of the sample during testing which are then processed by WinAG software to provide displacement measurements. These systems allow evaluation of test specimens over a wide range from 27 mm to 540 mm.

The Extensometers are easy to operate and offer a great deal of flexibility to accommodate a wide range of application requirements. They are available as a single or double camera system to enable ideal, cost-effective configuration for small as well as large displacement samples.
