PVC Strip Heater
If you are bending PVC wall cladding, Fabrication Tools and Mate¬rials, Inc. (FTM), offers new Clad-Form™ heater. FTM is a leading manufacturer and The Fabricators Source® for plastic strip-heaters since 1985. The Clad-Form heater is ideal for bending PVC materials like general-purpose sheet, wall cladding and flooring up to 3mm thick. The unit is a durable heater with a Patent Pending design that has the job site in mind. This heater has an all-aluminum casing with a built-in controller.

Their model CF120 is 10’ long with a heated width of 1/8” and weighs in at just 22.5 lbs. The Clad-Form is a self-contained, stand-alone unit that is ready to use right out of the box. Plug in, pre-heat, and bend. The CF120 is 120 volts and draws just 4.8 amps. Once pre-heated in as little as 10-15 minutes, it’s ready to go. Choose your desired setting and place your PVC material directly on the heat bar where the bend is to be formed. Although timing can vary, in 25-35 seconds most PVC materials, up to 3mm, are ready to go and the results are a tight bend with a crisp, clean look.

If you work with general purpose PVC sheet or PVC Cladding for walls, floors, counters, or ceilings, the Clad-Form will provide precise bends year after year and bend after bend.
