LEISTER - pioneers in hot air techniques, are presenting a compact tool, which is the first of its kind on the world market to contain the plasticizing unit, the hot air blower, the rod feed and the electronics in one unit.

The WELDMAX requires no additional booster and its low weight of only 6.2 lbs. makes it an ideal and convenient tool to use. The independently controlled plasticizer and pre-heat temperature control provide optimal process reliability. The changeable PTFE welding shoe makes all types of welds possible (double fillet, overlay, v & double v welds). Further highlights of the mini-hand extruder are: that it is very economical, be cause no multiple welding is necessary, its electronically controlled process parameters and its stepless, continual rod feed. The WELDMAX mini-hand extruder is made for HDPE, PP and PPS weld rods 4mm/5/32" round.

Currently, 230-volt units are being produced with 120-volt units expected by years end. Winkel man Sales Inc. has added the tool support, tool box and spool holder.
