ROUTER TOOLING FOR PLASTICS

Southeast Tool, Inc. offers a new solid carbide O flute with a radius for routing and rounding all in one pass. The company states that by using O flute tooling that have this profile, you can achieve better finish and will have less routing time versus running material in two passes. The tools are currently available in 1/8, 3/16, and 1/4 with more sizes to be added very soon.

The company also added solid carbide, spiral O flute tooling to their line which includes solid carbide straight O flutes. Chuck Hicks, President of Southeast Tools, Inc., states that their polished O flute tooling provides a better surface finish and achieves a better chip curl.
