CNC ROUTER WITH MOVING GANTRY

A new, high performance CNC router that features a moving gan try to save space, utilizes heavy-duty linear motion com ponents and a Pentium PC controller, is being introduced by Hendrick.

The Hendrick CNC Router Model 20ZXG is equipped with a fixed table to save floor space and features a moving gantry incorporating THK linear motion components for smooth movement and long life, with AC servo-driven ball screws on all three axes; providing repeatability to ± .002". Easy to operate, it has a Pentium PC controller, full-color monitor, and uses Windows® compatible software with menu-driven programs, including CAD.

Designed for continuous operation, the router can be equipped with 16- or 20 HP spindles and is supplied with a roots-type rotary screw vacuum pump, rather than blowers, for secure hold down. Table sizes range from 5 ft. sq. to 5 ft. x 12 ft. and options include an automatic tool changer and a five station rack type for aggregate style tool holders to perform multiple machining operations and applications.
