Vacuum Pump for Thermoforming

PIAB Vacuum Products, suppliers of compact, maintenance-free vacuum pumps, offers a new compact and lightweight pump, the Classic MP.

The basic design consists of an aluminum profile to which different pump housings with different performance are mounted. This allows the design of different pump models adapted to the vacuum level for desired performance. It is now possible to create vacuum pumps for large amounts of vacuum flow with their L-Series up to 106 scfm, medium vacuum levels with the M-Series to 27 –in Hg or deeper vacuum levels with the H-series to 5 mbar absolute.

The pumps are small, compact and easily installed. They mount close to the suction point thus avoiding troublesome pipe systems. Their weight ranges from 7-12 lb. compared with corresponding mechanical pumps weighing from 30-50 lb.
