Marine Board Line

Curbell Plastics announced that it now carries an exclusive new Marine Board line called Sea-Tuff™. The material is a high density polyethylene (HDPE) sheet that is specially formulated to withstand harsh outdoor marine environments. It is manufactured as a continuous extrusion so delamination cannot occur. It is UV stabilized to prevent degradation from sunlight and retain its beauty. The material will not splinter, crack, rot, swell or absorb water, is stain resistant and never needs painting, is machineable with standard woodworking tools, and easily forms for curves and bends.

It is available in 6 standard colors in a standard sheet size of 54" x 96". Standard thicknesses are: 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", 1", 11/4" and 11/2". Custom colors and sizes are also available upon request.

The product line also features Sea-Tuff™ Marine Board XL and Sea-Tuff™ Navy Board. The Marine Board XL is an HDPE sheet with a fine textured satin finish and is 25% lighter than the original. It is easy to fabricate with standard tools and never needs maintenance. Navy Board has a coarse texture with a glossy finish.
