Precision Machine Vise
Toolcraft Supply Inc. offers a vise for use on CNC machine tools. The vise features the lock down principle with a hardened adjusting screw, ductile iron body, flame hardened bed and removable jaws. The screw thrust bearings allow for secure clamping of work parts. Jaws for round parts are also available.

The block design allows for close stacking of the vises on the machine bed to increase production rates. Both sides are ground square to the bottom and parallel to each other allowing for vertical applications and even greater versatility.

The bed of the vise is flame hardened and the spherical segment transmits clamping forces with no bending or tilt of the vise or piece part. By moving the jaws to the outside position parts up to 14 1/2" long can be securely clamped. The adjusting screw takes up backlash and wear, and keeps the vise actuating in a smooth "running fit".
