NYTEF Group Re-Structures

M.R, French, Jr., announced the restructuring of three wholly owned companies, Nytef Plastics, Ltd., Comco Plastics, and Transparent Protection Systems, Inc. under a newly created corporate parent, The NYTEF Group.

Mr. French states, "We intend to utilize leading edge transactional tools as well as high level customer management technology to grow our customer base at an accelerated pace." French continues, "Additionally, we will be looking for growth through acquisition and strategic partnerships with synergistic companies."

As part of the re-structuring, M.R. French, Jr. will function as CEO and Chairman of the Board and has appointed Mr. Tom Boney to the position of President. Boney previously worked for Commercial Plastics & Supply Corporation as Vice President, Administration.

Additionally, M.R. French III has been named Executive Vice-President of The NYTEF Group, responsible for global material sourcing as well as leading the combined company’s Information Technology efforts. French held a similar position at Commercial Plastics & Supply Corporation, which was recently acquired by GE Plastics.

J. Charles French has been appointed Executive Vice-President of The NYTEF Group, and will continue as General Manager of Transparent Protection Systems, West Palm Beach, FL. Prior to this new position, French worked in branch operations for Commercial Plastics and helped develop the company’s employee training programs.

Craig Hampton has joined The NYTEF Group as Vice-President, Marketing and will oversee marketing efforts for all three companies. Hampton most recently held the position of Vice-President, Marketing for Commercial Plastics, and prior to that was Vice President, Sales & Marketing for DSM-Sheffield Plastics.

NYTEF Plastics, Ltd. is a manufacturer of engineering plastic stock shapes and high performance materials, sold internationally through plastic distribution partners.

Comco Plastics is a precision fabricator of all types of plastics, specializing in close tolerance machining of high performance materials.

Transparent Protection Systems, Inc. manufactures polycarbonate glazing panels for hurricane protection as well as custom extruded profiles for a variety of industries.
