Revised ABS, CPVC and PVC Specification Sheets
The Plastic Pipe and Fittings Association (PPFA) has released newly revised and updated versions of its popular Specification Sheets covering Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) Plastic Pipe And Fittings For Drainage, Waste And Vent Systems; Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) Plastic Pipe and Fittings for Hot and Cold Water Distribution Systems; Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Plastic Pipe and Fittings for Drainage, Waste and Vent Systems; and Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Plastic Pipe and Fittings for Water Systems. The Association has also introduced Polyethylene (PE) Plastic Pipe and Fittings for Water Service. All five publications are available free from PPFA's web-site, www.ppfahome.org.
The publications are designed to meet the needs of specifiers and engineers with concise information on each product, including basic use, composition and materials, grades, and limitations; technical data including applicable standards, expansion and contraction; and installation essentials. Specification Sheets also feature additional technical information in the form of data tables and technical drawings as appropriate.
The growing use of polyethylene (PE) plastic pipe and fittings and the popularity of the specification sheet format encouraged the development of this fifth publication to include PE.
