Hot-Air Thermoplastic Welders
Seelye Inc. announced the addition of the 2001FC and the 2001FCP welders to their line. The new tools combine the reliability of the Seelye's Model 63 and the infinite heat control of their Guardian Series. Compact, easy-to-use, and light weight what makes these welders truly unique is the redesigned inner tube and nose cone. The new design allows the barrel to stay cooler while it blows away any toxins that may be created while welding, i.e. PVC.

These welders offer a greater temperature range than most thermoplastic welders on the market today. Like the Model 63, the 2001FC and 2001FCP have three different elements, 400 w, 500 w & 650 w, which can enable the temperature to range from ambient to approximately 1800° F. Also being similar to the Guardian Series, the 2001FC and 2001FCP have a pressure switch which will protect the element from burning out by turning off the electrical flow if there is an interruption in the air-flow.
