The Leading Edge Sales & Marketing announced that they are now representing Pinnacle Plastics on the West Coast. Pinnacle Plastics supplies a full line of corrosive resistant materials including PVC, PP, HDPE, PVDF, PTFE, UHMW and Halar in sheet, rod and tube they also supply standard grades of acrylic and furniture grade acrylic from Vical. The Leading Edge also represents Polygal^® U.S.A., Jet Plastics, Chelsea Plastics, Plasti-Mirror, SCM and The Brillianize Company.

Kleerdex Company has retained Matt Houlihan of Rocky Mountain Rep Group to represent the Kydex sheet product line in Southern California, Arizona and Nevada. Matt will report to John Rogan, Western Regional Manager.

Innovative Plastic Technologies has appointed Rolland Tongret of Ashton Products Inc., Bill Crane of ConQuest Plastics, and Dick Smythe of RCS Sales as regional representatives for its line of cast acrylic sheet products.

Former Plaskolite Western Regional Sales Manager, Jeff Bostic, has formed ThreeFour Solutions, a Manufacturer’s Rep Agency in Seattle, WA. ThreeFour Solutions will represent Plaskolite’s Optix^® acrylic sheet products in the Northwest and Western Canada.

Röchling Engineered Plastics, Gastonia, NC has announced the addition of Jean Derreberry to their inside sales team. She has an extensive background in engineering plastics and UHMW-PE manufacturing. Jean’s responsibilities will include sales and customer service for our Polystoneâ thermoplastics.

BC Saw & Tool Inc., a Toronto-based tooling company, was named Onsrud Cutter's Canadian Distributor of the Year for its sales of router bits and other cutting tools. President of BC Saw & Tool Inc., Doug Reid received his award from Onsrud Cutter's representative Rich Lee.

INEOS Acrylics announced the appointment of J. Jefferson Davis as President, INEOS Acrylics, Inc. Mr. Davis was serving as Senior VP INEOS Acrylics Ltd., responsible for global manufacturing, technology, R&D, strategic projects, purchasing and SHE (safety, health, and the environment).
Mr. Davis succeeds Ross H. McMillan who will leave the company to join BBA Group - the British aviation and materials technology company as CEO of its global Materials Technology Division.

Mark R. Johnson has been named Southeastern Regional Sales Manager for P0LYGAL® U.S.A., Inc., a supplier of polycarbonate structured sheet, corrugated and flat sheet for architectural and industrial applications.

Bill Campbell has been elected vice president and chief financial officer for ATOFINA Petrochemicals, Inc. as announced by President and CEO Jean-Pierre Seews.

Ensinger Inc. has announced the appointment of Jeff Warren as their new Manager of Marketing Development. With Mr. Warren's 11-year background and recent position as Marketing Manager he will focus on identifying and exploiting key application opportunities for both new and existing products to insure the future success of the company.
Additionally, on May 21 – 22, Ensinger Inc. held their annual sales meeting integrating A.L. Hyde and Penn Fibre into the Ensinger family.
Lastly, Ensinger Inc. announced the appointment of Fran Alder and Dave Mildenstein as Market Development Specialists. With Fran's extensive background of 26 years in the plastics industry he will be directly involved in the Medical Market. Dave will be involved in the Semiconductor Industry where he was a Product Specialist for Semiconductor Products.

General Electric announced the appointment of Lynn A. Calpeter to Vice President, Corporate Audit Staff, Naren K. Gursahaney to President and CEO of GE Medical Systems-Asia, and Gerry P. Podesta to Vice President and General Manager, GE Plastics - Americas.

Henry Anderson, a 21 year veteran of the plastic industry, has been named Vice President and General Manager of manufacturing at Transilwrap Company, Inc.
In addition, Dick Crowell has been named Operations Manager for Transilwrap’s Manufacturing Division. Along with his new duties of overseeing quality control, shipping and plant efficiencies, he will also be responsible for safety regulations and personnel management at their manufacturing sites in Richmond, IN and Franklin Park, IL.

Interstate Plastics announced the addition of Larry Nevis as Branch Manager of their San Francisco Bay Area branch, located in San Leandro, CA. Also, Interstate has hired Greg Allomong to a newly created position of Sales Development. Greg will work as a corporate employee, but work out of the San Leandro branch.

Minkus Plastics Corporation has relocated their warehouse operations housed at their business unit, International Plastics, from Camarillo to Oxnard, California. Jose Rodriquez and Laurie Potts will oversee this location.

Sherri Tustin, 47, customer service representative for Ensinger Inc., died on May 5, 2001, following a one-year illness. An eight year employee of Ensinger, she is survived by her husband, Howard, son Jeffrey, daughter Stephanie Ealy, sisters, Deanna Friend, Janet Adkins, and Deborah Burk (who is also employed at Ensinger), and two grandchildren.

Rick McFarlane of Regal Plastics Supply Company, North Kansas City, KS, passed away suddenly July 1, in Regal's Oklahoma City branch while on a business trip. Mr. McFarlane had worked for Regal Plastics since 1988 and was their IT Manager. His death was attributed to a heart abnormality that was not previously known. At only 32 years-of-age, he is survived by a large family, many of whom are involved with Regal Plastics.
