Lehigh Celebrates 30 Years

In September, Lehigh Valley Plastics, Inc. opened its doors to nearly 300 employee families and friends, vendors, and esteemed guests to celebrate its 30th year in business. The open house celebration made teamwork a top priority for every employee. Each of twelve different departments created their own miniature golf hole out of materials obtained throughout the company. The golf course led guests around their three facilities, all located within walking distance from one another. Employees were available at each golf hole to answer questions, and demonstrate machines. A "Kool Kid Korner" allowed kids of all ages to create their own plastic souvenir to take home, as well as add to a group sculpture made of various colorful plastic shapes. Photo albums in "Memory Lane" highlighted events from the company's past 30 years in business. Wrapping up the event, winners of their Great Idea Contest were announced.
