Larger PVC Sheet
Bruce Merklinghaus, Manager of Sales & Marketing for Vycom Corp., has announced additional size availabilities in their solid PVC product line -Vintec®I (gray). They now now offer 60" x 120" sheets in 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2" thicknesses.

Merklinghaus said, "New equipment has allowed Vycom to achieve this new larger size with the obvious yield advantages for their customers." He also stated that with this new size, "more seamless fabrications could be achieved."

Vintec I, which conforms to ASTM-D-1784-95 Class 12454-B (formerly Type 1 Grade 1 PVC), with its high corrosion resistance, is ideally suited where maximum chemical resistance is necessary. Its high strength-to-weight ratio, cost efficiency, ease of fabrication and eco balance, make it the material of choice. Vintec I is manufactured without the use of plasticizers or fillers. It can be used in self-supporting construction up to 140°F (depending on chemistry). It exhibits excellent fire ratings (UL-94V-0) and has a flame spread under 20 per ASTM-E-84.
