New High Precision Saw For Plastics
Schelling announced the introduction of a second precision saw which is custom made for cutting plastic. The new FMK has special features and a patented blade that can process a variety of plastics into parts that are glassy smooth and square which virtually eliminates additional edge finishing steps. It has a material handling feature to automate production and a price that will fit most budgets.
Its heavy-duty design and variable speed spindle control allow for extremely tight cutting tolerances and chip-free cutting of plastic material including stacks of .030" without a cover board. A solid pressure beam and dust protection curtain produce dust free parts. On-line remote diagnostics increase uptime and productivity and the machine can download optimized cutting patterns and print labels.
