New Process is ISO 9001:2000 Registered
New Process Fibre Company has become an ISO registered manufacturer of non-metallic stampings and extruded thermoplastic sheet. New Process is also celebrating 75 years in business this year.
New Process Fibre Company was founded in 1927 to produce vulcanized fibre and fibre specialties. They discontinued production of vulcanized fibre in 1950, continuing to produce non-metallic stamped and machined parts and began extruding thermoplastic sheet in 1978.
Today, New Process stamps parts from a wide variety of non-metallic materials, including thermoplastics, thermosets, and paper products. NPF also extrudes Nylon (6 & 66), Nylon MDS (6 & 66), Acetal, HDPE, LDPE, and Polypropylene. Extruded product is available in sheet, strip, roll, and coil. They have the ability to extrude small runs and do custom color matching as well as the capacity to produce large quantities at competitive prices. New Process operates three sheet lines up to 38" wide and 70 punch presses. Class A tooling to produce stamped parts is made in house by experienced toolmakers using the latest wire EDM and CAD/CAM technology.
New Process has been a supplier to multi-national and world-class corporations as well as to many small businesses throughout the U.S. for many years. Supplying both OEMs and distributors, ISO registration further enhances their position as a world-class supplier.
ISO 9001:2000 is the latest ISO standard, which contains strong emphasis on
customer satisfaction. QMI of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada is the registrar (www.qmi.com). To achieve ISO registration a business must complete an all-encompassing audit of their Quality Management System. ISO's basic premise, in simple terms, is "to say what you do, and do what you say".
