DVS Welding Certification
Thermoplastic welders have a unique opportunity to obtain DVS (German Welding Society) certification during a workshop held August 5 – 9, 2002 at Wegener North America, Inc. in the Chicago area.

SKZ (Sueddeutsches Kunststoffzentrum) is offering a one-week school on hand and extrusion welding of thermoplastic sheet with the option of DVS certification. SKZ (www.skz.de) is a leader in the education and testing of personnel in welding, installation and manufacturing processes of thermoplastics.

The curriculum includes hot gas hand welding of PE, PP, PVC and PVDF as well as hot gas extrusion welding of PE and PP. The DVS certification has been established as one of the most recognized qualification documents internationally.
