Colored UHMW With Or Without Adhesive
CS Hyde Company announced a new product line; colored UHMW films and tapes. UHMW has already been established as a highly versatile material in many industrial applications. It is ideal for situations that deal with friction, corrosion, sliding, noise reduction, wear, sticking, gliding and surface production. UHMW is super tough and very abrasion resistant. UHMW has a low coefficient of friction and has good chemical resistance.

Colored UHMW is most commonly used in the sporting goods, material package handling, food and automotive industries. In the automotive industry it's commonly referred to as Buzz, Squeak and Rattle tape. This tape reduces noise, friction, and surface-to-surface wear and tear. It is also used in flexographic industry as ink scrapers and as a protective covering. Since UHMW is so versatile it can be used in wide variety of rugged applications such as chute liners and wear strips. Parts such as gaskets, washers, shims, wipers, guides, wear pads, and plates are fabricated from UHMW material.

Colored UHMW is the answer to applications that require certain cosmetic characteristics. It can be used anywhere that a slick surface is required and a color match is necessary for aesthetic purposes. This tape along with other UHMW products can be matched to any color in the Pantone library. It also comes in a wide range of thicknesses ranging from .030" thick to .125" thick, with or without adhesive.
