Production Bending Unit
The Thermobend Elite from C.R.Clarke & Co. is a versatile and powerful solution for folding thermoplastics. The machine employs the unique Hot Wire system developed by Clarke which allows the fabricator precise control over the amount of heat entering a sheet. It also ensures perfectly straight lines and does not require water-cooling. Furthermore, with a maximum 4 wires per heater beam, and the ability to couple beams together giving you 8, 12 or 16 wires in a row, it is possible to fold material from 0.04 – 1.0" thick.

The unit is available in 4 different lengths - 48", 72", 96" & 120" – and with up to six double-sided heater beams. The beam positioning system makes setting-up for different jobs fast and accurate. An optional independent rear control enables two users to fabricate separate jobs simultaneously. Additionally, 96" beam support channels are available which extend the bend centers from 48" to 84".
