Fabrication Grade Acrylic Sheet
Plaskolite, Inc. introduced OPTIX®FG Fabrication Grade acrylic sheeting. The material is the highest molecular weight continuously processed acrylic sheeting in the industry.

The product's high molecular weight greatly enhances and simplifies fabrication; results in better cuts, smoother sawed edges and flawless routed parts. It significantly reduces the occurrence of chipping; provides superior thermoforming, line bending and flame-polishing properties; allows a higher degree of resistance to crazing; and enables cost savings through down-gauging, faster fabrication, enhanced design options, decreased shipping/handling expenses, reduced breakage and extended service life.

Separately, Plaskolite, Inc. received ICBO Certification on their Duraplex® Impact Modified Acrylic Sheet. This certification (Report # ER-6042) recognizes Duraplex Impact Modified Acrylic Sheet as being in compliance with the 1997 Uniform Building Code TM (UBC) and the ICBO ES Acceptance Criteria for Plastic Skylights (AC 16), dated April 1997.
