Couplings
A new line of FPT half-couplings for molded and fabricated thermoplastic tanks is being offered by Industrial Plastic Works (IPW). The split-resistant thick walled half couplings are made of homogenous material which resists belling out and leakage typical of thinner walled parts. The half-couplings have a shoulder on the tank end sized to standard hole saw dimensions for fast accurate installations. The shoulder also helps prevent fitting break off. IPW features sizes 1/2" through 4" from stock in natural HDPE, black HDPE, natural PP, and black PP type 2 (Copolymer). Eurogray PP, PVDF, PVCÑ CPVC, and others are available upon request. An extended length style is also available for installation on the domed area of tanks.
