In 1965, American Cortex Corporation introduced the German-made ACC-HIMMEL Saw Arbor Motor to the North American market and showed the industry its dedication to supplying superior quality precision products, manufactured to exacting standards at very competitive prices. ACC continued this business philosophy by adding custom-made cutter spindle motors, frequency converters and frequency inverters. For 37 years they have supplied machinery manufacturers, Fortune 500 companies and custom shops. They work closely with customers to determine the correct product for a given application.

Their saw arbor motors and cutter spindle motors are available in 1 hp to 75 hp, 1800/3600/7200 rpm models with saw collars and threads or other special shafts as required. These low-profile, compact design motors are used where direct mount saw blades, cutter-heads and grinding wheels are utilized.
