Thicker Gauges Plexiglas® G Line
Altuglas International has expanded its line of cell cast Plexiglas® G acrylic sheet to include thicknesses of 1 1/2", 1 3/4" and 2". Primary applications for thick-gauge acrylic sheet are point-of-purchase displays, aquariums, furniture, and architectural glazing. Additionally, thick sheet is fabricated for such specialized uses such as site glasses on tank trucks and storage tanks (level measurement), flow meters, awards and trophies.

Previously the thickest Plexiglas G available was 1" thick. Atoglas also makes a specialized cell cast Plexiglas SB formulation for bullet-resistant sheet applications that is 1 1/4" thick. The new thicker gauge sheet comes in sizes of 4’ x 8’, 5’ x 8’ and 6’ x 8’.

The sheet offers optical clarity and weather resistance. The colorless sheet carries a 10-year limited warranty on light transmission. In addition to clear, the sheet comes in 34 transparent, translucent and opaque colors. It is also available in day/night colors – colors that change depending on backlighting – and with patterned surfaces.
