Machine Grade Polycarbonate Sheet
Sheffield’s MAKROLON® MG (Machine Grade) polycarbonate sheet engineering plate is an amorphous thermoplastic material that offers high impact strength, high modulus of elasticity and excellent dimensional stability. Made from Bayer’s MAKROLON resin, MAKROLON MG offers good mechanical and electrical properties and a 270°F (132°C) heat deflection temperature at 264 psi.

UL 94-VO rated, with good dialectric properties, the sheet exhibits minimal warp and part deformation during and after machining. The material is a versatile product that meets the application needs of a variety of market segments, including medical, electrical, semiconductor, military/ government and industrial/OEM.

It is available in 48" x 96" sheets and gauges of .750", 1.000", 1.250", 1.500", 1.750", and 2.000". Standard colors are clear and black. Custom colors can be supplied on special quotations. UV-Stabilized grade is available from standard stock and FDA-Special grade can be custom ordered. The product is supplied unmasked as a standard order.
