Polycarbonate Translucent Roofing Panels
Co-Ex Corporation offers a new line of polycarbonate sheeting called RoofliteMB®. These corrugated polycarbonate panels create effective, economical skylights when used between matching corrugated metal panels, and also work as sidelights when vertically glazed.
According to Jon Voss, Co-Ex’s National Sales Manager for Architectural Products, these sheets are available in a net 36" width with patterns 9" on center and 12" on center and come in lengths up to 39’. RoofliteMB comes standard in clear, opal and Athermic heat reflective panels.
Structural strength and durability are engineered into these lightweight sheets. At just 1/8th the weight of glass, RoofliteMB does not require extensive structural support and is easy to handle and install. Virtually unbreakable, the strong corrugated sheet has an impact resistance 20 times stronger than fiberglass and 120 times stronger than glass. As with Co-Ex’s other building products, these panels feature high light transmission with effective UV protection, and a 10-year warranty against yellowing.
CO-EX manufactures a full line of polycarbonate sheet including Macrolux® multiwall sheet and Rooflite® corrugated
sheet. Both products are perfect for industrial glazing applications and also work well in installations where high insulation values, light transmission, impact strength and durability are important, such as partitions, canopies, shelters, greenhouses, swimming pool enclosures, skylights and more.
