New PCTFE Shapes
PCTFE is now produced in a wide variety of sizes, shapes and colors by Afton Plastics.
This specialized fluoropolymer offers high performance characteristics for demanding applications in gaskets, valves, seals, fluid handling and other specially machined high performance plastic components. A dimensionally stable material over a wide temperature range, this fluoropolymer can be used in applications from -400°F to +400°F. Inert to many liquids and gases, it is resistant to acids, caustics, solvents and bodily fluids.
Utilizing special compression molding and extruding capabilities, Afton Plastics can manufacture sheets, cylinders and rods. Afton also specializes in custom rod lengths and color matches.
