Allen Company offers the Multi-Hinge in high impact
acrylic and eight other formulations.
The Multi-Hinge is
available in a wide variety of colors
and two configurations (flush or off-set).
The same hinge can actually be
assembled for either flush or 3/8” off-set
mounting simply by reversing one
leaf. This allows the fabricator to
choose the best combination to meet
their needs for appearance, rigidity and heat or chemical
resistance. The hinges can be fastened with either heat or
solvent welding or can be mechanically fastened. These
heavy-duty hinges are suitable for a variety of commercial
and industrial applications.

Bondmaster introduced two structural adhesives for
acrylic assemblies: Bondmaster® M1305 and Bondmaster®
F246.
These adhesives are designed to reduce
production time and improve aesthetic appearance on the
final assembly and replace solvent bonding or mechanical
fastening.
F246 is a surface-activated
structural acrylic that is used in
conjunction with Bondmaster®
Initiator #1 or #5. This adhe-sive
obtains a fixture time in
30 to 60 seconds and will fully
cure in 4 hours. On acrylic-to-acrylic
assemblies, F246 achieves a shear strength of
1200 psi (at room temperature, 25°C / 77°F).
M1305 is a fast, room temperature curing 1:1 structural
acrylic adhesive with excellent gap filling capabilities. In
many cases, M1305 will provide substrate failure before
the adhesive itself fails. M1305 has an operating temperature
of -85 to 138°C (-65 to 280°F).

durable Anti-Glare
hardcoat for acrylic
