Coated Polycarbonate

SDC Technologies, Inc. announced it offers polycarbonate sheet coated with Statux™ electroconductive surface chemistry for use in clean rooms, laboratories, pharmaceutical and biomedical manufacturing where static control is required.

The special Statux sheet offers very high abrasion and chemical resistance far superior to traditional brands while providing optical transparency and humidity independence. Statux is used to manage electrostatic discharge (ESD), static and dust in a wide variety of applications including walls, windows, totes, containers, fixtures, ceilings and assembly area surfaces. The formulation for coated sheet utilizes inherently conductive nano-polymers that are permanent and durable. A variety of sheet gauges are available including custom shapes and sizes.
