PALRAM Americas Awarded Seal Of Recommendation
PALRAM Americas recently earned the Seal of
Recommendation from the Skin Cancer Foundation.
PALRAM Americas SUNTUF, PALSUN and SUNLITE products
were awarded the Seal of Recommendation by meeting
the stringent criteria for safety and effectiveness in the
prevention of sun-induced damage to the skin. The polycarbonate
panels block out nearly 100% of harmful UV-A
and UV-B radiation.
In the past, family health wasn’t usually a factor in deciding
on a home improvement project. With the addition of
the Skin Cancer Foundation Seal of Recommendation,
PALRAM Americas products provide the additional benefit
of protecting families from harmful radiation. “The fact
that the products block virtually 100% of harmful radiation
has long been established by our research and
development department. The recognition from the Skin
Cancer Foundation reinforces the results of our tests,”
commented Mike Howser, Vice President of Sales and
Marketing at PALRAM Americas.
PALRAM is leading the way by setting an example of high
standards for other building products. PALRAM Polycarbonate
Panels withstand temperatures from 270°F to -40°F
making the material ideal for most environments. As
opposed to glass, the panels are virtually unbreakable and
shatterproof. The clear polycarbonate panels are guaranteed
not to yellow and are often used in agricultural and residential
buildings where safety is of concern.
PALRAM Polycarbonate Panels are available in a variety
of colors with different light transmission levels and heat
blocking options. The choice of selecting clear, translucent
or opaque panels allows flexibility in design for homeowners,
architects, builders and contractors.
