New Color Options

Altuglas, a business of Arkema unveiled an exciting new addition to its line of innovative Plexiglas® EdgeFX™ acrylic sheet products used by today’s top designers in creating stunning, consumer-stopping retail displays.

Developed by Atoglas scientists specifically for creating visually energizing point-of-purchase displays, EdgeFX acrylic sheet is breakthrough technology that exhibits dramatic internal optical effects. According to Vince Casmirri, Marketing Manager for Atoglas, the new product has edges that change color from separate yellow and blue layers to a cool green when viewed at different angles. These brilliant fluorescent color schemes are now being offered in addition to existing Plexiglas EdgeFX acrylic sheet with edges that dramatically change from separate red and blue layers to a warm pink, depending on the angle of observation. Both sheet options are available in a frosted or glossy surface.

The sheet fabricates and thermoforms as easily as standard acrylic sheet and no special tools or new techniques are needed to create dynamic, eye-catching displays. Atoglas offers Plexiglas EdgeFX acrylic sheet in the 51” x 100” size and in thicknesses of 0.236, 0.354 and 0.472 inches.
