Time

I am always late, well almost always. If it were left up to me I would always be late but business and family life require me to be on time for appointments, meetings, school events and extracurricular activities. My wife-to-be told me that if I was late for our wedding she would marry my best man. I knew she was kidding but I was early that day and he was late! I was even told I would be late for my own funeral.

Most of the time it is simply that I try to do too much in the time allotted. As an Editor, I am constantly tinkering up to deadline. As a businessperson, I am always trying to close that last ad, make sure that ad position is just right and work with our Art Director and Associate Editor to make sure we provide you with the best possible magazine.

Time, we fill what we have and look for more. We spend it, we manage it and we waste it. We have so much of it when we are young and will want more of it when we are old.

One way to save time is by having the right resources at your fingertips. Resources like this magazine and our 2005 Buyer’s Guide. Resources like our website’s article archive and keyword searchable version of the 2005 Buyer’s Guide. Resources like the Routing, Thermoforming and Safety articles you will find in this issue.

Good resources not only save you time but they will save you money.
