Colored PTFE Film & Tapes

CS Hyde Company introduced a new, exciting product line of specialized Colored PTFE (Teflon®) Films and PSA Tapes. Colored PTFE products are ideal for customers who need the high performance characteristics of Calendared PTFE and want to color code specific applications, processes or products. Colors are used for coding, identification, cosmetics, warning, light blocking. Available in blue, green or yellow; red and black to be added soon. Colored PTFE film is calendared (also available skived.) Adhesive is high temperature (450°F) silicone.

The tapes and films have a higher dialectric strength, high temperature resistance, lower elongation and high tensile strength. They can be used in date code, environmental, OSHA, warning, light-blocking, color-matching and cosmetic applications. High temperature applications for film are 500-550°F, tape 450°F for use in color coding for baking and food processing operations, for example. Or for packaging, lamination, wire and cable coil wraps, transformers, separators, slot liners or harness wraps.
