Compressed Air Piping System

Asahi/America, Inc., has expanded its Air-Pro™ Compressed Air Piping Systems line by adding a wide selection of fittings and sizes to their current offering. Now available in sizes 1/2” to 12” with socket, butt and electrofusion fittings in a variety of styles including tees, reducing tees, 90s, 45s and more. Air-Pro Systems are safe and reliable, offering fast, low-cost installations. Designed specifically for compressed air applications, Air Pro is ideal for Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive manufacturing where clean piping is required.

Air-Pro Systems are engineered for continuous operating pressures from 150 to 230 psi and use specially-engineered (Solvay Eltex TUB 124 blue) PE100 high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resin, which is extremely ductile, light-weight and corrosion-free. Additionally, Air-Pro Systems are chemically resistant to compressor synthetic oils and mineral oils that traditionally attack glued and metal systems.

Color-coded blue up to 4”, and black from 6” to 12” for easy identification of compressed air lines, the Air-Pro comes equipped with transition fittings, stub ends and backing rings for flanging. The Air-Pro System is joined through socket-fusion, butt fusion and electrofusion.
