Plastic Cutting Laser
The Lasercut Penta PL series laser system is available
in varying power sources up to 500 Watts. The
Lasercut Penta PLN System
(shown) allows up to 1000
watts. The systems are able to
cut a variety of materials with
high precision and speed. In
most cases, secondary operations
can be eliminated.
The laser beam characteristic
is high quality and very stable. The
machines are constructed of heavy-duty
welded steel tubes that eliminate resonance
and improve rigidity. Mating
machine surfaces are machined to precision
tolerances to ensure perfect fit and assembly. The
“motion system” employs high quality ball screws and
is driven by closed loop servo motors, affording maintenance
free operation. The SMART AXIS control system
was specifically developed for laser cutting. The
systems are modular and all components are manufactured
under one roof.
The CNC has a user-friendly interface
and offers easy downloading from
most popular CAD/CAM software. The
construction of the Lasercut Penta PL
and PLN provides for future
upgrades should the customer’s
production needs
increase. The flexible design
also permits the use of multiple
heads allowing the user to cut
2 pieces simultaneously and/or a laser
resonator upgrade for increased power. This would
boost production through-put and eliminate the need for
additional floor space and further capital expenditure.
