Westchester Plastics has named William (Bill) Diecks as Regional Sales Manager. Diecks will be responsible for providing sales and marketing support for existing customers as well as developing new marketing opportunities.

Kleerdex Company, LLC, manufacturer of KYDEX® thermoplastic sheet, has named Michael Karr as its North American Business Manager. In the new position, Karr is responsible for managing all Kleerdex field managers and field sales force.

Sandra (Sandy) Beach Lin was named President of Ticona, the engineering polymers business of Celanese Corporation and Executive Vice President of Celanese. She replaces Lyndon Cole, who has announced his retirement and will remain with the company during a transition period.

Professional Plastics added Ariel Gutierrez and John Reynolds to inside sales at their Richardson, Texas branch. Gutierrez has 16 years experience in plastics and Reynolds has 33 years experience in pharmaceutical, corrugated containers and metals sales.

STANMECH Technologies Inc. announced the appointment of Rocco Trentadue as Technical Sales Representative for Southwestern Ontario and other parts of Canada. Trentadue will be responsible for managing the day-to-day relationship with existing customers and for new business development throughout his territory

Curbell has announced Susan Walsh Schubbe has been named Human Resources Director for Curbell Electronics and Laura Kavanaugh has been named Human Resources Director for Curbell Plastics In January 2006, Curbell Inc. changed the legal structure of its company, forming two separate corporations: Curbell Plastics, Inc. and Curbell Electronics, Inc., which are wholly-owned and operated by Curbell, Inc.

Norplex-Micarta announced Daniel Krammen as a New Product Development Engineer at the company’s corporate headquarters in Postville, Iowa. Krammen will be responsible for the design and development of new Norplex-Micarta sheet, tubing, rod and molded shape products.

Interstate Plastics announced hiring Richard McDevitt as Branch Manager for their San Leandro, CA facility. Interstate also hired Lisa Crawford as Inside Sales, assigned to the San Leandro branch.

MMG is sad to announce the retirement of Jim Friesen. Friesen has been part of MMG family beginning with the acquisition of Solidur by Poly Hi, starting as the Regional Sales Manager with responsibility for the entire East Coast. Friesen spent several years with Poly Hi Solidur and was well known and respected throughout the industry.

For more than 15 years, Stiles Machinery Inc. and the Howard S. Twichell Company have worked together, serving customers in the Texas and Oklahoma markets. To further strengthen the synergies of these two companies, the Twichell Company has been acquired by Stiles. The Twichell organization will center their efforts around the needs of the custom shop while Stiles will direct their resources towards industrial, high-production manufacturing customers.
While the ownership will change, the Twichell name, management and dedication will remain the same.
