Thermoset Materials

The Polymer Products Business of Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics has developed the Meldin® 7000 series thermoset polyimide materials for highly demanding applications that require superior heat insulating, chemical resistance, electrical insulating, or wear / friction properties. The Meldin® 7001 and Meldin® 7021 grades are currently available as isostatically molded rod stock shapes. A technical data sheet showing the properties of these isostatically molded materials is available on the www.rulon-meldin.com website. The Meldin® 7022, Meldin® 7211, and Meldin® 7003 grades will be commercially available as isostatically molded rod stock shapes in January 2008, but are available as isostatically molded rod blanks in limited quantities.
