Sterile Connection
Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Corporation
(SGPPL) introduced the patent-pending PureFit® SC
(which stands for sterile connection). The new connective
technology makes sterile connections possible outside of
the clean-room environment.
The silicone valve design ensures ease of assembly and
leaves no gaps or residue. Its triple-redundant locking
mechanism simplifies validation, virtually eliminating
chances of operator error and the use of Pure-Fit
SIB® patented technology
on barb connections
ensures a
completely smooth
inner bore flow path.
Available in three
common sizes - 1/4”,
3/8” and 1/2”, which
are completely in-terchangeable
- the product
is sterilizable via
gamma irradiation or
autoclaving.
