6” and 12” Acrylic Piano Hinges

FTM, Inc. has redesigned the Acryl-Hinge™ 6” and Acryl- Hinge™ 12”. They listened to suggestions and incorporated them into the new design. A number of improvements have been made. Both hinges now include the following design elements: Micro Dot® technology for faster and easier bonding; clearance for corner mounting up to 1/4” thick material; splined pin locks in and does not come out during use; transparent self-lubricating pin; reinforcing ribs to add stiffness and strength; large cementing areas for strong bonds; lower profile for cleaner finished look and optical quality finish.

FTM’s line of Acryl-Hinges are manufactured to the highest quality standards for flatness and clarity. These new hinges are made with the same high strength acrylic that they have always used and can be bonded with standard acrylic solvents. The complete line is stocked in clear, black and white. The clear is offered with a spring for use as a selfclosing hinge.
