KYDEX® Meets Toxicity Requirements
Kleerdex Company, LLC, manufacturer of
KYDEX® thermoplastic sheet, is pleased to
announced the use
of Lexan® FST9705
resin from SABIC
Innovative Plastics,
in its new product
line. The new product,
KYDEX® FST
meets existing FAR
25.853 (a1i and
alii), FAR 25.853(d),
and smoke toxicity
limits of ABD 0031
and D6-51377 making
it fully compliant
for Boeing and Airbus flame-smoke-toxicity requirements.
With the introduction of this product, Kleerdex now offers
a truly robust line of thermoplastic sheet for the airline interiors
industry complementing the current KYDEX®6565,
KYDEX®6565(d), and KYDEX®5555 products.
