Manufactured from nylon, polypropylene, acetal and PVDF (Kynar), fittings and tubing are corrosion resistant and deliver a lifetime of durability. Each material has its own advantages: Nylon fittings are flexible, resistant to high pressure and are NSF/ANSI 61-Health Effects approved. Polypropylene is resistant to various kinds of chemicals. Acetal is resistant to high temperatures. PVDF is resistant to most chemicals.

Tefen recently developed a new Pre Water Filter to be used between the main water source and a water dispenser or disposable filter. When the Pre Water Filter is used, it protects the internal elements, such as solenoids and valves and can extend the life of the dispenser or disposable filter by 50% or more.
